Johnny Cash’s Legendary Tennessee Three
February 7, 2008 7:30 pm
A live performance by The Tennessee Three is unlike any other in the history of music. They are not a “tribute act”
or “cover band”, but rather the original men who provided the unique sound that powered nearly every Johnny Cash
stage show and recording since 1960. The TN3 is credited as one of only a handful of musicians, who along with their
mentor, Johnny Cash, created a truly original and instantly identifiable sound. Cited as an inspiration by hundreds
of contemporary musicians in virtually every genre ranging from country, rock, punk, rockabilly, pop and many more,
the legendary members of this band are held in the highest regard by both fans and peers alike.
The band’s set consists primarily of the historic music they played with Johnny Cash along with their popular original
material. Bob Wootton now provides lead vocals. He performed vocals with Johnny Cash on most of their songs for nearly
30-years and is the one person who best understands the vocal subtleties required to properly honor their music together.
Approx. 90 minutes plus one 15 minutes intermission.

Carlos del Junco
March 27, 2008 7:30pm
Watch Preview
Five years ago, one of the world’s best blues harmonica players rocked Wenatchee with explosive talent and masterful, expressive technique. Now, he and his four-piece band return to the PAC of Wenatchee for a very special evening of sound and rhythm!
The sound you’ll hear: An eclectic palette of jazz, blues, swing, Latin, funky New Orleans and the occasional African, hip-hop, and ska melody. Del Junco’s voice is almost as unique as his harp playing with fresh renditions of classic blues and jazz standards.
While respected as a blues artist, the music played by harmonica maestro del Junco transcends all categorization into sheer artistry bringing musical credibility to what has still been considered by many, a fringe folk instrument. His command of the harmonica is absolute – he plays with all the subtleties and nuances of a classical violinist to the edgier sounds of a blues rocker.
Carlos fuses his respect for tradition with a fresh, innovative, and truly modern approach. Audiences are blown away at every performance and return for more at show after show.
Approx. 90 minutes plus one 15 minutes intermission.
